4:04 p.m.
It is freezing today. It was just as cold yesterday. Winter has returned. Oh, well; the spring-like weather was nice for awhile. There is a sycamore next to the creek. I can't see it from my office window, but I can from the bedroom. At this time of day its white trunk glows in the afternoon light. It is the only one of its kind shining amongst the beech, oak and pine.
